THE MALL ALADINMA

 The Mall Aladinma which is popularly referred to as TMA is a joint venture between the Imo State Government (ISG) and Bauhaus International. TMA is the first regional enclosed mall in the South East. It is a one-stop shopping and entertainment complex that has been conceptualized to promote commerce and tourism in the state. The mall provides space for 106 specialty shops and offices, one departmental store, two branch banks, a multipurpose hall, meeting hall, night club, casino, cinema suites, and a Children’s Park.

  The Mall Aladinma is located in the heart of Owerri city, the Capital of Imo State. It is located within the popular high-brow estate of Aladinma Housing Estate, which is surrounded by over 7 major housing estates in owerri with an estimated population of five hundred thousand residents. The Mall Aladinma is a 5-mintue walk from the prestigious Imo State University… the most populated tertiary institution in the state. It is also a 15-minute drive from the popular Alvan Ikoku Federal College of Education. Surrounding TMA are good road networks bringing in great traffic to the mall.

  The Mall Aladinma has a land area of about 26,533.477sqm (2.65hectres). The mall itself is presently taking up about 7,800.01sqm (0.78hectres) … only 30% of the land. This is an advantage for potential department stores such as Shoprite, as it provides ample space for their operation.
